Moving in had gone smoothly. Danny hadn't had all that many things, really. Once he was set up it was just a matter of learning to adjust to one another's habits and schedules. Hex, for his part, was an early riser, a quick bite to give him some energy and out the door to run for a while. He went his usual route and when he returned home the neck of his shirt was ringed with sweat. He'd set up the coffee pot on a timer there would be some fresh brewed for him when he got back in.
In the moment he hadn't forgotten about Danny...he just kind of forgot about Danny and he began to sing a pop hit as he made his cup, chucked his trainers across the room, and took a seat to cool down.
