What felt right, right then, was to pull Nyx tight against him, to flex his arm rock hard to hold him in place, and then to kiss him...only to bite his bottom lip slowly, tugging on it as he pulled away.

"Will we still be able to break the bond?" he asked, Nyx's freedom much more important than his own desire.

Nyx let out a little gasp, nodding slightly.

"I think- I mean... I believe so," he said quietly, though he had no way of being sure. Other fae had been freed though, and he had doubts their captors had held back while owning them.

"But we don't have to do this if you're nervous," he said quietly. "I can find ways to manage it myself. ...Though it wont help with your own cravings. You would also have to find an outlet. You can't let it fester, Hex. It'll drive you mad."
