Hex froze and glared at Nyx, his eyes piercing into the Nymph as the animal registered prey.

The shirt fell and the wolf licked his chops and lowered his head.

Nyx had never heard the growl that rolled out of the beast. It chilled the blood. Hex's lips drew back, baring all his sharp teeth.

Too fast to see, he lunged at Nyx to attack, only the bars holding him back, though claws reached for him as much as Hex could stretch.
