When he couldn't reach, Hex began to pace around the cage, eyes on Nyx and
nothing else. He would pause to sniff him, nose as far as he could push it
through the bars.
The fourth time he did it, Hex realized it was Nyx and whimpered softly,
this time struggling to reach with a licking tongue.
