His smile was bright. He had no illusions he was a musician. Rapping had lasted about five months, if he'd have to guess.
"Wanna hear me best?" he asked, then didn't wait for Nyx's answer.
He didn't need permission, after all.
Most of the time, Hex's accent was mild. He'd been in London for years and the Scouse had softened.
Until he began to spit for Nyx with cringeworthy enthusiasm. It wasn't good, at least the understandable parts.
