By the time Hex had his treats in hand, he turned and couldn't see Nyx at
all. He couldn't see him, so he paused to sniff the wind and couldn't smell
him, either.
Panic gripped him.
"Nyx!" he shouted loudly, taking off to where he'd last seen the nymph.
