Nyx
Nyx had made up with Willy. That was fine. Hex had all but shoved Nyx at the sidhe. He saw him getting sad. He could smell his misery. All he wanted was for Nyx to be better. To be loved.
And he was pleased when he came over to note the scent in the air had changed a bit. He could smell them both and smiled.
The smile faded fast as he lifted the folder.
"The reason I've come," he said, showing Nyx as he walked in and then closed and locked the door.
"Keep that locked at all times, yeah?" he said firmly. "You've been busy, so I haven't bothered you, but you can know now. Sit?"
He nodded at the sofa, knowing this was going to upset Nyx.

"I like watching you too," Nyx said, moving closer and slipping his arms around the other man's middle. "I think you're beautiful," he said softly.
no subject
Hex smiled wide.
"Thank you," he beamed. "You say the sweetest things."
He twisted so he could steal a kiss.
"Order food, yeah? I'll eat whatever, if you think I need a veg. I need to use the loo," he said, then left Nyx there.
no subject
Nyx never knew what to order, so he just ordered two meals of a full English and a side of fried potatoes. He was sure Hex would eat most of it, the wolf was always hungry.
With that sorted he set about making coffee, adding some brandy to his and leaning against the counter as he sipped it. He must be starting to look unwell, people only brought up food when he was starting to look ill. He'd have to start putting effort into his looks again- A little glamour here and there to stop anyone worrying too much.

Hex took quite a while, but when he emerged, he was clean shaven, hair done, and he smelled of his soap he'd left here.
He walked out with the towel around his waist.
"Is it here yet?" he asked hopefully.
no subject
Nyx checked his phone and shook his head. "Got time yet. Mind if I wash up too?" He asked.
"Oh, I made coffee, he added as he finished his and stole a kiss.
no subject
"Thanks! Take your time. I'll wait for the food," he assured him.
He'd wait. Right there, near the door.
Listening.

The food eventually came, and not long after Nyx was back, washed up with a little glamour on now, just enough to make him look a bit more refreshed, a bit moe himself.
"Smells nice," he lied, stealing another kiss, even though he knew Hex's full attention would be on breakfast now. "What do you think you'd like to do after breakfast? I don't have anything on the books today- We could do anything you like, really," he offered.

The rest was already halfway gone once Nyx emerged.
"You don't need to write or practice or anything?" he asked. "We could go to the park. The leaves are gorgeous and it's not too cold."

There was no judgement in it. He thought if he could magic himself tidy he would. Shaving, doing his hair, and skincare...magic would be nice.
"Or can you not look different enough?' he asked.
Before Nyx could answer either question, Hex smiled.
"Could wear a wig. All the big pop stars wear wigs, I saw," he suggested and then popped bacon into his mouth.
no subject
"I can look as different as I like," Nyx said, "It's just a bit exhausting sometimes. I don't want to wear a wig either, I'll just use magic to make people not notice me," he shrugged.

"You're going to love this place," he grinned. "If you don't, I'll eat me hat."
no subject
"You're going to wear a hat?" Nyx quipped, picking at his food a little more, then pushing away the plate. "I'm ready whenever you are, love."

"Used to play ball here, but beyond the pitch is a secret," he told him.
no subject
"Oh? I do like a secret," Nyx purred, settling in close against Hex in the back of the cab. His hand moved to the other man's thigh, and he squeezed a little as it slid a bit higher.
no subject
"I used to play ball a lot," he confessed. "I haven't played since...you know. Wouldn't be fair, and that's no fun."
no subject
"Who cares about fair?" Nyx asked. "You could be a winner. A star..." he added with a purr.

They rolled up to Holland Park, but on the far side, well away from the pitch. Hex paid and waited for Nyx to join him and the car to drive away. There was no one on the street. Entering the park through the gate, well off in the distance was a woman walking her dog, staring at her phone.
"Let's take this path," he said, leading Nyx away from her.
no subject
Nyx followed without hesitation, trusting Hex blindly, as he often did.
"Going to give me a hint?" he asked as they walked.
no subject
It wasn't much of a hint...until they walked into the Kyoto garden and found themselves utterly alone.
"Pretty, right?" he asked eagerly.
no subject
"It's beautiful," Nyx smiled, glancing around. "I love it."
Reaching for Hex's hand, he gave it a soft squeeze.
