Once Spencer was on his feet Hex let go of his hair and went to the pegboard where the assortment of rope hung. There were so many kinds to choose from- nylon and cotton and hemp, thick as his thumb or thin twine. But he had some idea of what he thought Spencer could tolerate and so he selected a meter long black satin ribbon and brought it back. He turned Spencer round and brought his hands behind his back to bind him.
