Hex didn't wake up until his alarm went off a 4:45. He rolled over and dozed for a moment before he remembered the night before and realized Fin was gone. He got up to see if the man had gone to the sofa...and that's when he heard the muffled sound of the monitor outside his door. He retrieved it from the mailbox and shit the bloody thing off.

Hex scowled and went back inside to get dressed. Fin was in no fit state to be running around the city and he knew that with the tube schedule this early in the morning he might still be on the platform. Hex dressed quickly in shorts and a t-shirt and trainers and with his keys on a lanyard around his neck he set out into the cold grey light of pre-dawn looking to see if Fin was anywhere to be found.
