Danny

Halloween had been awful, except for Danny asking Hex to move in with him. Now that the fog was gone and Danny was soer and they'd had a real conversation about it, Hex found himself ready to move again. He'd miss spencer's, but Jenna could get on without him, and he'd still check back in to care for the property for Spencer, but this...this was huge. He wanted to do this right. To do right by Danny.

And so he had his few boxes and a large suitcase with him when the cab dropped him off. They were unloaded on the curb and Hex took his suitcase to the door. He tried the knob and it was unlocked so he walked right in.

"Danny?" he called. "I've brought me things..."

"I love you too," Danny said quietly. "You're the best thing that could have happened to me after I lost Alex. ...I think you've kept me from falling completely apart."

"And you brought me back from the edge, Danny. Make no mistake, I was almost to rock bottom when you came back," he said softly. "You gave me something to get well for."

Pushing up on his toes, Danny kissed him again, cupping his face with his hands and then slowly letting go.

"Then I'm very glad I came back to you," he said softly.

"And now we're together. Solid. I'm solid," he said, his smile a bit softer, more affectionate. "Let's go unpack a bit, yeah?"

"Absolutely," Danny smiled, looking over at the boxes, then back at Hex. "Where should we start? Living room, bedroom... Other rooms?" he asked with an amused chuckle.

"Bedroom," he said. "That box there."

He pointed to one sealed with black tape, and himself he took hold of his suitcase to drag it in so his clothes could get put away.

"I've still got a bit more at the house. Clothes and boxes," he said, though he'd said it before. "Can only get so much in a taxi at a time, though."

"No rush, you can move a bit in ever day or every few days," Danny said, grabbing the box and following along.

"I've moved all my things to one side of the closet, you can have the other half," he said as he plopped the box down on the bed. Not that Danny had many things. Even now that he had money, he hadn't really bought anything.

Hex put the suitcase into the closet as it was and closed the door. He turned to Danny.

"Thanks," he said warmly. He nodded to the bed. "Open that box, yeah?"

It was full of toys- dildos and vibrators, gags and cuffs, hooks and rope. He wanted to see Danny's reaction.

Picking at the tape, Danny opened the box with care, then smiled a little as he bit his bottom lip and glanced back at Hex.

"Might need a wardrobe just for all this," he teased, picking up a rather rude looking toy and wiggling it in Hex's direction.

"I think I might," he grinned. "I have a trunk, but it doesn't hold everything. Either I need more storage or I need to downsize."

"I certainly don't want to see you downsize," Danny said, perching on the bed and starting to pick through the box curiously.

"Maybe you should pick out your favourites and leave those out on the dresser, and the ones you're less into can stay in the box for now. There's space in the attic if you want to store a few bits.

"That's not how it should work," he replied. "You should pick the ones you like. We can pull out my favorites on occasion, but I want you satisfied," he insisted.

Danny glanced over, studying Hex for a moment before speaking.

"Meaning, things for you to use on me," he said, just to make sure he wasn't misunderstanding. "We never really talked about that when we decided to move in together, bondage and submission. That whole lifestyle. We should," he added gently, making sure Hex knew he was open to it, and aware that it was part of the other man, in a way.

"We should talk about what you want, and what I'm willing to give- And what I want."

Hex moved closer and picked the box up, setting it aside. Then he took Danny's hand so they could both sit on the bed.

"It's a big conversation," he said. "And not one I've ever had. I've never done any of this before. Moving in. I've tried monogamy, but the rest?"

He shrugged.

"Why don't you start and tell me what you're comfortable with...and what's absolutely off the table."

"I don't really know what's off limits," Danny admitted. "I haven't really got that many limits when it comes to sex. ...Might not have any, really. I will say this though, I would like, now and then, to be on top. I know it's riskier, but we're careful. I can be careful. It's not something I want often, but- Sometimes, yeah?"

"Any time you like, Danny," Hex replied with a soft smile. "I'd like that. I'd like that a lot, actually."

He was usually on top, but he found himself feeling especially close to Danny in bed, and when he'd fucked Hex once he'd felt so connected. It was almost a relief to say yes.

"I like...discipline. I like control. So I like bondage. I like obedience. Not as a lifestyle, though. I've never wanted anything like that. But when I tell you I want you in bed, or if I tell you to do something I expect it done. And in return I'll take care of you. Such good care of you, Danny."

Danny nodded a little, reaching out and running his thumb softly over Hex's bottom lip before leaning in to kiss him soundly.

"I can give you that," he said between kisses. "I can be that."

Hex relaxed into the kiss, only keeping a sigh in because he was busy returning Danny's sweetness. He held the man lightly and savoured him for a long moment.

"I want you to understand, though," he said, "...Just how much control you have. When you say no, I stop."

"I know," Danny assured him. "I'm not... I'm not a virgin to all this, Hex. ...Hell, I've probably done things you haven't."

"I think I'm going to enjoy learning what those things are," he said.

Danny's smile faultered slightly, but he forced a soft laugh.

"Maybe, or maybe you'll think I'm... I don't know. Sick. I've done a lot of questionable things, Hex. ...Let's just say when they tried to frame me up for Alex's death, they didn't have to work too hard to make 'kinky sex act gone wrong' seem believable."

He didn't want to talk about that though, didn't want his mid to creep back to that place- So instead he moved to the box, putting it between them.

"Show me your favourite kit, then I'll pick out the things I think look good."

Hex was aware of the fact that Danny's life made it easy to frame him up. He didn't care, honestly.

He reached in the box and dug around, then pulled out a chrome hook and a length of rope.

"One of me favourites," he said softly.

Danny's mind flashed to that room he'd found in Alex's flat. All part of the set up. ...All a lie.

Then he pushed the memory away, reaching for the hook and running his fingers over it. It was smooth and cold, and he didn't have to ask what it was for.

Reaching into the box, he touched a few items. Leather cuffs, a large and realistic looking cock... But he settled on what looked like an aggressive training leash for a dog. A choking collar. It was silver and smooth, much like the hook, its metal links clinking softly against one another.

He looked at Hex for a moment, then looped it around his wrist before pulling it taught. It was a challenge as much as it was a question. Danny couldn't help but be antagonistic sometimes. It was just part of who he was.

"I like this," he said simply.

Hex arched a brow but caught the end of the leash and pulled, securing Danny's wrists together. It was tight enough to hurt, but not mark or cause damage.

"You like it really rough?" he asked.

"Sometimes," Danny replied, holding Hex's gaze, then twisting to free his hands.
