"I try me best," Hex replied quietly. He used the soap to make it easier to massage Danny's muscles. He simply enjoyed himself, taking his time as he explored the other man's slick body.
"It sounds perfect, Danny," Hex replied. He settled in next to him and
pulled the blankets up. Forever sounded just right. "You should get some
sleep, love."
"Even when you're high," he corrected. Hex kissed him tenderly one more
time. "I know it's not easy to stop, Danny. And I'm not upset. Do I prefer
you sober? Yes. But I'm being realistic. I love you. One hundred percent of
you."
Hex smiled and pulled Danny closer. It felt like his chest couldn't
possibly be big enough for his heart. It swelled in him, this knowledge
that he was loved.
"I'm glad because you're stuck with me forever," he said.
no subject
Hex settled in close so he could give Danny lazy, sated kisses.
"You've got me," he said softly. "For as long as you'll have me."
no subject
"Yeah? How's forever sound then?" Danny asked with a yawn and a soft smile.
no subject
"It sounds perfect, Danny," Hex replied. He settled in next to him and pulled the blankets up. Forever sounded just right. "You should get some sleep, love."
no subject
"You too," Danny whispered. "Lay with me, let's get some sleep."
no subject
"I think I will. You wore me out," he laughed softly, snuggling in tight and close so he could hold on and feel Danny's heartbeat.
no subject
Danny was silent for a while, content to simply be- But eventually he found himself speaking up.
"We'll be alright, wont we?" he asked quietly. "Me and you, yeah? We're going to make this work. ...I don't want to lose you, Hex."
He never wanted to lose anyone again.
no subject
"I plan to," he replied. "I see a future for us, Danny. A lifetime together. I love you and I want to be with you. Always," he added softly.
no subject
"I want that too, Hex," Danny said, closing his eyes and exhaling softly. "We deserve a happy ending. We deserve good things."
no subject
"You deserve all the best things. And I'm going to give them to you. Everything. I'm set to make you so happy, Danny," he promised.
no subject
"Yeah? ...Yeah, I want to make you happy too Hex," Danny confessed. "I want to be a better man for you."
Though wanting and doing were such different things.
no subject
Hex stole a soft kiss and smiled against Danny's mouth.
"Better than now? Because you're the best man I know," he said quietly.
no subject
"Right, when I'm not high," Danny said with an uneasy little laugh.
no subject
"Even when you're high," he corrected. Hex kissed him tenderly one more time. "I know it's not easy to stop, Danny. And I'm not upset. Do I prefer you sober? Yes. But I'm being realistic. I love you. One hundred percent of you."
no subject
"I don't know if I love all of me," Danny admitted with an awkward laugh, nuzzling at the other man. "I love all of you though, Hex. All of you."
no subject
Hex smiled and pulled Danny closer. It felt like his chest couldn't possibly be big enough for his heart. It swelled in him, this knowledge that he was loved.
"I'm glad because you're stuck with me forever," he said.
no subject
"Forever sounds brilliant," Danny whispered, letting Hex pull him close and kissing his cheek.
no subject
"Now go to sleep. You need your rest so you're not light headed all tomorrow, too," he scolded gently.
no subject
"Such a nag," Danny scolded with a smile, yawning and curling up closer as he started to drift off.
no subject
Hex smiled as he closed his eyes and settled in close. He drifted off to sleep with the scent of Danny's skin making him perfectly content.
