"I try me best," Hex replied quietly. He used the soap to make it easier to massage Danny's muscles. He simply enjoyed himself, taking his time as he explored the other man's slick body.
Hex smiled and pulled Danny closer. It felt like his chest couldn't
possibly be big enough for his heart. It swelled in him, this knowledge
that he was loved.
"I'm glad because you're stuck with me forever," he said.

"Now go to sleep. You need your rest so you're not light headed all tomorrow, too," he scolded gently.

Hex smiled as he closed his eyes and settled in close. He drifted off to sleep with the scent of Danny's skin making him perfectly content.
