Hex had been sneaking texts to Corbin in between patients. The man wasn't answering, probably working, so he sent one more message.

I'll be home after 8. Going to gym. Maybe I'll see you <3

He couldn't get enough of the other man. He wanted to see him all the time. He was always on Hex's mind.

He hit the gym and did his usual circuit, then showered. That was when he checked his phone to see if he'd be alone tonight.

"That's sweet. ...You miss her?" Corbin asked.

"Sure. She was a sweet dog. But I don't have time for one here," he said. He'd often thought o getting one, but he worked so much...

"Yeah, I guess it would be hard with the hours you work," Corbin said, sounding sympathetic.

[just_hex]

"I...did have an idea..." he said hesitantly.

"What if I convinced Bond to get a therapy dog? And I keep her?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Do you think you could do that? ...Who's Bond, your boss?" Corbin asked. "Wouldn't it need a lot of training?"

[just_hex]

"Oh, yeah, Dr. Bond is head of emergency. I haven't asked because...well, I don't think he'd be keen," he said. "So I haven't put a tonne of thought into it. Just a nice daydream sometimes. Do you daydream?"

"Sure, everyone does, you just sounded serious about it is all, so I was just asking," Corbin assured him.

[just_hex]

"I'm always serious...I just realize me lifestyle isn't fair to any dog. Because I'm only home to sleep or clean up and change, yeah? What about you? You ever think of getting a dog? Or cat? Cat might be easier. Little more independent, yeah?" Hex replied.

It was odd, he thought, how comfortable and right it felt to simply chat in bed. No one ever wanted him in bed to chat.

"Honestly, I'm too self involved for a pet," the actor replied. "It would be selfish, I think."

"Good. Then I get all your spare attention," he smiled, squeezing Corbin tight to him.

Corbin nuzzled at the other man's jaw, then started to press soft kisses up to his ear and then back down to his neck.

Hex practically melted, tilting his head to give Corbin better access. His fingers danced lightly on the other man's back.

"Think I like all your attention," he finally said softly.

"I'm happy to give it to you," Corbin purred. "All day, all night, lover."

[just_hex]

"This isn't resting. You should be resting," he protested weakly, more interested in groping Corbin's ass.

"It's relaxing, good for the soul," Corbin insisted with a grin.

[just_hex]

"I could do this for hours," he said after a few moments. "You feel so good. I want to memorize every inch of you..."

"It would be an honour to linger in your mind," Corbin purred. "I would be flattered."

[just_hex]

"Corbin, I will never forget you," he smiled softly. His hands trailed over him.

"This freckle. How you're so smooth here..." he said, tracing lines from point to point on him. "How you breathe when I go..."

He dragged his fingers lightly, anticipating Corbin's sounds.

Corbin gasped, His whole body arching towards him.

"Hex," he whispered.

"You say that like a prayer," Hex said, smirking a little, high on the power he had over Corbin in the moment.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Well that's only right if I'm to worship you as I want to," Corbin said softly.

[just_hex]

Hex tugged at him and found his mouth to kiss him slowly. He savoured him, the weight of him, the scent, the taste. Hex's heart was lost, and he didn't even know it yet. He just knew that every time Corbin was near, it was easier to breathe and the world was brighter.

"You taste like sin. Blissful, perfect, sin," Corbin murmured. "You're my new favourite flavour."

[just_hex]

"I want you so much...Corbin...this isn't resting," he protested. He didn't fight, though. He was content to pet and paw at him while desire rose from low in his gut.

"I'll rest later," Corbin promised, kissing his way down Hex's chest. "Right now I just want you. I want you, yeah? Tell me you want me too..."
