After leaving Fin's Hex had taken his time getting to the tube. He'd waited on the train and every moment that passed made him more and more queasy. He knew he needed to come clean with Danny. He knew that wasn't true, though.

He finally came into the house well after dark and took off his jacket. He'd hoped Danny was out getting high but the lights were on and he knew the man was home. No avoiding this any longer, then.

"You home?" he called as he shed his jacket.

"Fair enough," he agreed, reaching back and lightly holding onto Hex's hip.

"That's more like it," he murmured. He raked his teeth over Danny's wet skin. This sort of affection was as natural as breathing for him. He couldn't imagine not being able to be close to Danny, taking as much comfort as he was giving.

"Feels good," Danny said softly, and it did. having Hex's hands and lips on him made him feel more grounded. More alive- More than any pill or puff might offer.

He moved then scooting back and pulling Danny so he'd roll onto his back. Hex leaned over him and looked at him for a long moment, studying him so he could try to remember this exact moment. How beautiful he thought Danny was, and how much he loved him.

Then he dipped down to kiss him, closing his eyes so he could memorize the softness of the man's lips and the way he smelled. Hex wanted to always be able to recall this perfect moment.

Hex threaded his fingers into Danny's hair and pulled gently. If he didn't have such a handful it might have hurt, but as it was it was just a steady sting as he gripped hard. His grip on Danny's arms loosened and he dropped down to kiss him again.

"I want you inside me," he said softly, almost hesitantly. It wasn't something he asked for often. Danny had asked him when they'd gotten together if it could be like this and Hex had found over the months that he felt closer than ever to Danny when he'd let his guard down and not be so very in control.
