Hex had been sneaking texts to Corbin in between patients. The man wasn't answering, probably working, so he sent one more message.

I'll be home after 8. Going to gym. Maybe I'll see you <3

He couldn't get enough of the other man. He wanted to see him all the time. He was always on Hex's mind.

He hit the gym and did his usual circuit, then showered. That was when he checked his phone to see if he'd be alone tonight.

"Where would we go?" he asked, busy with mapping every bit of Corbin's skin, one kiss at a time.

"Could go out to the country, somewhere quiet," Corbin suggested, stroking Hex's hair. "Or maybe the shore... Might get nice weather soon."

Hex kissed across Corbin's chest, teasing his nipples, but mostly just exploring.

"I love the shore," he murmured. "Or maybe the tropics. A hut on a beach...fresh coconut..."

"Sure, though I think that might need more than a weekend," Corbin said, breath catching a little and fingers tightening their hold on the man's hair.

Hex tracked lower, enjoying the softness of Corbin's stomach as his tongue circled his navel.

"Finish filming. I'll take a holiday. We can run away from everything," he promised. He trailed his hand along Corbin's arm and caught his hand to hold it. Hex tangled his fingers with Corbin's and pulled them to his lips to kiss there before letting go again.

"I know a spot in Bali," he kept on. "Right on the beach..."

Corbin was touched by the gesture, just the thought- But it also scared him a bit, and he didn't know why.

"I don't know if I'm ready for Bali," he admitted.

Hex looked up the length of him and grinned.

"By the time we both have time, you might be ready," he replied.

"Maybe," Corbin agreed, looking at that smile and that optimism, and finding he envied it.

[just_hex]

"Maybe," Hex whispered, hot breath spilling on Corbin's skin before he kissed that sensation away.

"Maybe," he repeated, doing it again a bit lower. "Maybe," again, his tongue flicking lightly.

Corbin shivered, swallowing down a groan.

"Wicked mouth you have, you know? Truly devious."

"You taste so good," he justified, continuing his journey all the way to the skin, tight and smooth, over the jut of his hip.

"And you smell good," he added, dragging his tongue along that strip of skin.

"You're going to ruin me with all this attention and sweetness. I'll be insufferable," he warned with a little gasp of pleasure.

[just_hex]

"Impossible," he replied, lifting and rising so he could look Corbin in the eye.

"You deserve every kindness. And I'm so lucky you want that from me..."

Corbin grinned and rolled them over, climbing on top of Hex and practically sitting on his chest.

"And what do you deserve?" he purred.

[just_hex]

"Kisses," he smiled, not thinking Corbin could be serious at all. "A hundred million, til I can't breathe."

He held the man's hips, bracing him in place. The weight of him was...strangely comforting.

"You can have all the kisses you like," Corbin said, leaning down low and kissing Hex's cheeks, chin, brow- And then finally his lips.

Hex had his fingers pushed into Corbin's hair on each side of his head, simply holding on as the other man kissed him again and again, stealing his breath.

"You feel so good," he gasped softly, arching to him.

"So do you," Corbin purred, shifting lower and kissing Hex's neck.

[just_hex]

"And you want me," he said. "Tell me you want me."

He knew he shouldn't be demanding, not about that, but he wanted to hear it. He wanted to believe it. Just for tonight.

"Of course I want you," Corbin purred. "I wanted you the moment we met."

He could feel it bubbling up, stupid words tied to confusing emotions of lust and affection and want.

But he knew better than to speak. He was always so impulsive that he knew he should keep quiet.

"Fuck, I need you," he gasped.

"Need you too, lover," Corbin said, kissing him again and clawing at Hex's clothes.

[just_hex]

He squirmed and tugged and regretted ever getting dressed as he tore it all off again. He settled Corbin lower and as soon as he was bare he sat up, pulling the man tight to him.

"Corbin..." choked off as he said it, his lips catching another hungry kiss.

It was easy to get lost in the passion of it, to coil himself around the other man and hold on tight. For just a moment he could pretend he wasn't some shithead deastened to fuck this up. That they could be happy. That they could start a new chapter together.

Hex kissed him senseless. Every place Corbin touched him lit up. He gasped, afraid he might drown in the other man.

"I need you," he admitted, hesitant and small. It wasn't something for the moment- Hex was sure he couldn't survive without him.
